Jean Farrell was a reserve on the Ladies Senior Munster team, which played in the Interprovincial Championship at Portstewart G.C., from the 9th to the 11th August 2000. She was selected to play for Ireland in the Girls' Home Internationals at Formby Ladies Golf Club in 1996.
On Friday, 6 August 1999, young Hugh Hanley shot the lights out at Youghal G. C. when he smashed the course record by 5 shots, shooting a 62 gross. Hugh is now playing his golf out of Grange G. C. I had the great pleasure of being his mentor in Ballinascorney G. C. before he made the move, and have always said he was one to watch, now playing off +1. Not only is Hugh a fine golfer, but he is a fine lad. Well done Hugh.
B. O'Donovan participated in the Boys Home International matches in 1985, and played Munster Youths in 1997.
Paul McNamara represented Ireland in the Boys' Home Internationals at Conwy G. C., Wales, in 1999, and played Munster Boys' in 1998.
Jean Farrell was in the reserves for The Irish Girls' International Team in 1995, and played in 1996.
