Club History

Carnalea was the first municipal golf course in Ireland and the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland drove the first ball. It was located at the home of the Royal Belfast Club from 1891 to 1926. On the 1st April, 1964, the club took over the management of the Course.




Location

Carnalea Golf Club can be found to the west of Bangor on the shores of Belfast Lough.






Members Achievements

Carnalea Golf Club on won the Ulster AIB-GUI-ILGU award in the Clubhouse-Course Presentation Category in 2003.
