Course Description:

Although founded in 1906, it was not until 1993 that Athy Golf Club extended to an 18-hole course. Measuring 6,340 yd's has a Par of 71 with a standard scratch of 69 off the blue tees.

All credit must be given to the members as the course is the product of their labours, in keeping with natures presentation of mature trees, undulating meadowland and a clear running stream, produced an excellent course on which each hole has its own individuality.

The last five holes at Athy will challenge the very best of golfers, with the 16th a 423 yd's Par-4, index 1 followed by the 387 yd's index 5 will catch any tired golfer.
Athy golf club has recently opened its new clubhouse where the golfer is assured of the warmest of welcome. The visitor always leaves with the intention of returning at the first opportunity.
