Course Description:
Mountain View Golf Club is a picturesque 18-hole course situated in South Kilkenny, 12-miles from Kilkenny and 14-miles from Waterford. The course offers a wide panoramic view of the surrounding areas from various parts of the course. There are two large lakes, which come into play on six of the holes. The club was founded in 1995 and is already a most vibrant one. It provides an exciting challenge for the avid golfer.The course consists of two par 5, thirteen par 4 and three par 3 holes, covering an overall length of 5,935-yd's, on a well elevated site, providing breath-taking views of the Slievenamon and Comeragh Mountains. Mountain View opened their driving range in December 2006. Societies are welcome and group rates are available.

Members Achievements
In 2006 Frank Costello and Austin Brownrigg represented Mountain View in the All Ireland National Council for The Blind Of Ireland in St. Andrews Golf Club Scotland.2005 Lady Captain Nuala Cummins (32) and her Captain’s Prize winner Kathleen Lanigan (28) qualified in the Volkswagen/Irish Independent Lady Captain’s Classic at Waterford Golf Club on Thursday 22nd September, when they returned a fine score of 38 points in this scotch foursomes format to be only 2 point off the Castlecomer pairing of Kathleen Hogan and Ann Kennelly. It was off to the National Finals at The Heritage Golf Club on Monday 3rd October where they were paired with the Callan pair of Breda Ryan and Betty McGrath.
Mary Reid and Ciara Fennelly qualified for the National Final of the Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Ladies Golf Challenge at Druid's Glen on the 21st of August 2001.
