Course Description:

Courtown Golf Club founded in 1936, has a par 71, standard scratch 71, 5898 m off the back tees 18 hole course with a highly regarded and testing layout. Every hole has unique features and a particular feature is the four par-3’s. In particular the 181 m 14th and the 148 m 18th which have destroyed many a promising card. It is a course to be enjoyed by scratch and handicap golfers alike. The changing facilities are well appointed and there is a separate visitors locker room with lockers to secure personal belongings. There is a well equipped professionals shop and John Coone the resident professional will be glad to take booking lessons. There are excellent bar and catering facilities. Snacks are available all year round and full catering facilities are available except during the winter months when they are only available to groups on request. Over 100 people can be seated for dinner. The specious bar overlooks the course. A warm welcome is extended to visitors at this fine parkland course.
