Course Description:

Originally a 9 hole Parkland set in what was the ancestral estate of the Earl of Kilmorey, where Lord Justice Babington designed the original nine holes. He was followed by the late Eddie Hackett who did what he was so gifted a,t marrying the old with the new. The 18-hole championship course opened for play in 1993 and has jointly hosted the British Amateur Championship and the PGA Senior Tour together with its more illustrious neighbour Royal Co. Down just up the coast. Nestling between the shores of Carlingford Lough and the Mountains of Mourne, Kilkeel is on 120 acres of the original estate, surrounded by woodlands and at the foot of Knockcree Mountain. The excellent clubhouse has all the facilities the golfer can require together with a well equipped golf shop.
