Course Description:

Ballinamore Golf Club was founded in 1941 and redesigned by Dr. Arthur Spring in1996, as since established itself as one of the finest 9-hole courses in the country. Since its redevelopment Ballinamore has proved popular with locals and many visitors.Situated in a quite clearing of tree-lined hills that occupy the area and along Shannon-Erne canal, which has to be crossed first tee.The clubhouse provides many facilities, including locker rooms, showers and bar. It offers a view of most the 9-holes great views 1st hole 3rd 9th greens.There is a spacious car park adjacent to the clubhouse. club provides for and welcomes all ages. There always good atmosphere at Ballinamore, especially during open events when every one keen play.All visitors and prospective members are guaranteed a friendly welcome quality golf setting in the quite of Irish countryside along banks canal at what is the only club in County Leitrim.

Members Achievements

Ballinamore Golf Club won the Independent Skoda County Masters at The Royal Dublin in 2000 they were represented by Peter O'Rourke and Club Captain John Lockhart.

The Ladies of Ballinamore won the All-Ireland Daly Mail Foursomes in 1997, they were represented by Marie McGarry and Joan Toolan.

Joan Toolan won the All-Ireland Lady Captains Prize at Bundoran in1978.

They won the Linda Black Trophy in 1994 when the squad was Brid Solan, Brid Sullivan, Martha Duighan, Teresa McCormack, Bridie Moran and H. Smith. 

They won it the previous year with Maura Sweeney in the squad. They also won the Ladies Lonleittros in 1995 and 1993.
